To create a new asset Category -
- Select Categories & Types from the main menu.
- In the upper right corner, click the Add New Asset Category button.
- Enter the Category Name and Description.
- Choose an Icon Style by selecting the Square or Circle option. Note: This will be the default icon style for all assets created under this Category.
- Choose an Icon Color by clicking the Change Color button and selecting a color from the palette. Note: This will be the default icon color for all assets created under this Category.
- Choose a default image or acronym for the Category by clicking the Select Icon button.
- Select an image from the icon library.
- Alternatively, you can use text by selecting the Create Text Icon option and entering up to 3 letters.
- Click the Save button to create your new Category.
- The new Category has been created and added to your list of categories.
